This is really well made. The only reason the rating isn't 4 or higher is that it has a few large bugs. The first is that when you get the coin as a tip it makes your daily total "NaN". Though you still pass the level. But it makes it so you have infinite money when it comes time to get upgrades. This completely game ruining. Though the bug that renders the game unplayable is that once people get on the dance floor they never want to leave. It's not just a matter of waiting them out, I've been waiting about 5 minutes. This makes it impossible to finish a level if you have the dance floor. If the bugs were fixed the game would be rated much higher. With a little work this game will be one of the better time management games out there.

I really like it but it lags pretty badly. And the custom cursor moves very slowly. It probably would have been a 5 if not for those two problems. It definitely would have been a 3-4 if you could disable the custom cursor.

I really like the idea. It'd be a great game but the custom cursor is so slow to move that it's not very enjoyable. I would have rated much higher if you had just stuck with the default cursor.

It's good for what it is. Though I think it'd be much better if there were multiple levels. You should also consider adding a mute option.

This is a great game. I love the music. You used the cello very well. The only improvements I can think of is it'd be better if you could manually save as opposed to having to wait for the game to hit it's auto-save point. And it'd be nice if the med kits were cheaper.

It saves whenever you open the Shop (SPACE) as well as when at the end of the of a day. Should be able to see the like "Saved...." message on the left side when you open it.

Med-kits are quite cheap at the beginning, you won't need level 3 in Med-kits until later where it get's harder.

I'd suggest building in order of operations so you can get the correct answers to problems.

You've clearly put a lot of effort into improving this since the first version I saw on NG. I couldn't find any bugs in the game play. It's much more enjoyable now that you're not in fixed motion. I really like the visual style, it reminds me of games I used to play back in the NES/SNES days. I'm quite impressed with this game. Seeing as this is still considered a beta in your description I can't wait to see the final version. I have a few small suggestions. I can't seem to figure out exactly what dictates when a level ends. I'm not sure if it's reaching a certain depth or killing a certain number of enemies. It's not a big deal but I think it'd be an enhancement to be able to tell either how long a level is or what you need to accomplish to finish a level. It took me a couple tries to figure out that the green door in the shop was the exit. If the guy tells you I might have missed it. If he didn't I'd suggest that you either put an exit sign on/above it or have the shop-keep tell you it's the exit. I quite like the music and sound effects, they feel quite nostalgic to me, though a mute button might not be a bad idea for those that like to listen to their own mp3s/music while playing games.

All in all this is turning out to be a great game. I really look forward to seeing the final version and future games from you.

Thanks very much for your review! I'm glad to hear you've been following the project and are content with the development. If you look on the HUD underneath your coins you will see a little bow and arrow, this is how many enemies are required to be killed to finish the level. It is easy to miss :p

It's a cool idea but needs work. I don't really like having to go to the level select screen in between each level. There really should be an option to mute the sound. Clicking only seems to respond about half the time. I'm clicking after the black ball has entered the block and the red timer bar has started. With a few tweaks this would have been very addicting.

Very cool. I like how original this is and how well it's executed. Though I'd like lefty-friendly controls.

It'd be nice if you could use a key other than the space bar. I'm not a huge fan of using space in games when it's the only key or a letter could just as easily be used.

You can left-click.
